Rebecca Frame is a self-taught contemporary artist, based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand.

After a rewarding and successful career as a Makeup Artist for over 15 years, she discovered her passion for painting and the art of visual storytelling on canvas.

Rebecca creates atmospheric landscape paintings inspired by New Zealand’s coastlines, skies and ever changing natural environments.Her preferred medium is oil on canvas, through which she brings a sense of calm, space and connection. Rebecca’s work has been recognised for its minimalistic aesthetic, subtle texture and distinctive style.

Exhibiting throughout New Zealand, including both the NZ Art Show, the Wellington Art Show and various smaller shows, Rebecca enjoys participating in exhibitions and is always open to opportunities within galleries.

While commissioned work has played an important role in her artistic journey, she is now focuses primarily on creating original collections, but remains open to the occasional special commision.

As her practice continues to evolve, Rebecca remains dedicated to creating captivating works that invite viewers to pause, reflect and reconnect with the beauty of the natural world.
